New Payment Options for JoomISP
Are you also annoyed that you are a member of all Joomla! think of extensions to renew them?
Or hold the updates with a bland aftertaste expire, especially when it comes to security-related issues?
After a few discussions, we have thought of something for you, for the JoomISP Packages we will offer a subscription model as of 1. January 2020 in addition to the conventional terms of 30 days or 365 days.
The package is extended automatically in subscription mode until you explicitly cancel it.
So you can always use the update function in your Joomla! without having to think about the subscription.
So far, we have granted a 10% discount on renews. This was automatically calculated when you clicked the renew-button in your JoomISP dashboard.
Renews as well as New Packages will soon receive a second payment option with the subscription option.
The subscription prices are calculated at 75% for all subsequent months. The 1st initial month remains the same.
We don't want to unnecessarily set you a subscription trap or bind you to us!
We hate long annual contracts ourselves and don't pass them on to you.
That is why the subscriptions can be canceled monthly!
Since the Extended Package has been running for 12 months anyway, we have decided here for subsequent years to a discount of 20% in the subscription model instead of 10% for extensions.
Price adjustments for JoomISP
Since our last "update crash" in 2016, we haven't had any serious bugs in our updates since then. We owe this above all to the fact that we had invested a lot of time in quality management.
We showed you already few insight into our development day in our contents Insights from JoomISP Development & Joomla 3.9.2 and Einblicke in die Joomla! Entwicklungsumgebung bei Medialekt.
Especially with JoomISP there are some additional server instances from the plugins, such as gSales, Plesk, ISPConfig and other servers, which we run purely for test purposes and sometimes also pay for the licenses.
Of course, this all costs time and money, since we are now no longer four men, as at the beginning of 2016, but only two.
In addition, we have to ensure the further development, homepage, documentation, marketing and above all support, which is not always easy.
It was not for nothing that the old author Jonas had to give up the project after tens of years of development.
For this reason, we will use the subscription change to adjust the prices of the following Packages & Plugins:
- JoomISP Basic from 39,70€ to 49,70€
- the both AcyMailing Plugins from 19,70€ to 29,70€
- the complex Mollie Plugin from 19,70€ to 29,70€
- the biggest change is for the annually Extended Package from 159,70€ to 229,70€
We calculate the adaptation of the extended package based on the fact and honest notification from you that an ordinary extended user operates a control panel and registrar plugin in addition to JoomISP, gSales for billing, AcyMailing for the newsletter & info campaigns and WhoIS & Progress modules.
Seperately, this would have a monthly value of currently 277,90€, where we almost give 20% to get the 229,70€... in the actual monthly value!
We still leave the duration of the Extended Package at 12 months and it still pays off for you, compared to the seperate packages. Especially the new subscription model...
VERY IMPORTANT!
We don't just make this decision out of fun and gut, especially not in the "quiet closet".
Therefore, this information already today, the old prices are valid until 31.12.2019! In addition, the Christmas campaign with the discount code is already running.
So if you want, you can still use the time to secure the old prices!
In the coming days, the subscription models will gradually be added with the new prices, of course you always have the choice!
